about vbdojo.com
vbdojo.com started operation in the summer of 1999.
Jeremy, the founder and owner of vbdojo.com, has over 8 years of experience with web design and over 6 years of experience with Visual Basic and Windows applications.
First half of 2000 - vbdojo.com had a contract with Engineered Products Division (EPD), located in Carlsbad, New Mexico, on a TruPACT Access Database. The ability to view various safety documents related to parts listed in the database was added.
Fall, 2001 - vbdojo.com redesigned the CEMRC web site to function in tandem with a custom application, also designed by vbdojo.com, to provide them the ability to maintain their own web site using non-technical personnel.
1996 to 2004 - vbdojo.com has also worked on various Visual Basic projects as well as web design and multiple subcontracts for Jewel Consulting, Inc. (JCI). vbdojo.com continues to maintain a great working relationship with JCI. If you're looking for great embedded software or electronic design, check them out.
Fall, 2002 - vbdojo.com, as a subcontractor, designed a monitoring application, written in Embedded Visual Basic (eVB), for a waste-water system for the Airvac corporation. The application was designed to run on the Pocket PC platform. The second phase of this project (called "HVNS") is scheduled to commence in early 2004. The original application is being ported over to PC-based versions of Visual Basic as well as adding several new additions to the feature set.
Summer, 2003 - As a subcontractor to a major automotive manufacturer of electronic sub-systems, vbdojo.com designed the graphical user interface and intermediate control layer for a hardware test utility for electronic control modules (ECM). The GUI was designed using Visual Basic 6. The utility was designed to run on any IBM PC platform operating under Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 operating systems. The utility communicated with the ECM via the standard Controller Area Network (CAN) 2.0 serial communications bus, which is widely used in the automotive industry. Both the CANalyzer (from Vector) and the Gryphon (from Dearborn Group) CAN devices were supported in the initial design.
